Welcome to michaelboo.com. Mostly, this webpage will tell you a little bit about my compositions for concert band. After thirty-six years of writing custom marching band arrangements for bands around the country, I got back in touch with my first musical love, the concert band.
TRN Music Publishing, Inc. has started publishing my compositions and hopes are that all works found here will eventually be published in their fine catalog.
Eventually, it's expected that quality mp3 recordings of both published and yet-to-be-published works will be available on this site. Prior to that time, you will also find selected pages from the full scores for your perusal.
I'd be interested in hearing from you if you wish more information about my work. I'd especially love to hear from you if you're interested in discussing the possibility of a commission for your band.
